Lost Souls - "Searching for Light"

 


I’m searching for a way, a light to see
Met her by chance, was it meant to be?
I asked her the path, but now I know
She’s as lost as I am, with no place to go

How do we find the truth we seek
When both our hearts are strong, yet weak?
Two souls adrift, no light to show
How can we find a way to grow?

I don’t know why we crossed this line
A question that haunts me, time after time
If we could stop, if we could rest
Would we find peace, or fail the test?
